Free Online Courses - MOOC-List

Two weeks ago I enrolled in a free online course I found on MOOC- List. I find the course to be very informative and enlightening.  The course is conducted by Open2Study which is backed by Open Universities Australia (OUA).

What is MOOC-List?

MOOC-List; Massive Open Online Course List is an extensive directory of free online courses offered by several educational institutions around the world. Universities in countries such as Argentina, Australia, France, Israel, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, United States of America among others are listed in this directory. MOOC- List carries vast array of subject matters that might be of interest to you. You want it free, MOOC-List has it!

Is MOOC-List Free?

MOOC-List is totally free and so are the listed courses.

Registering For a Course

Registering for a course is pretty simple. Identify the course of your choice and select the "Go to course" button. Once you are in the course site provide the requested information. That's it!

Exams

Information about exams and final projects are found to the right of the course description.

Certificates

To the right of the course description is a box which indicates if the course offers a certificate.

At the end of it all, the most important thing is that you have learnt. You have learnt information and have developed skills that you may have otherwise paid for. You have the opportunity to increase and improve your knowledge base. This is university at your fingertips. This is an all expenses paid learning opportunity. Carpe Diem!

I leave you with these two inspirational quotes.

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
                                                                                                                                                                   Mahatma Gandhi

"Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow."
                                                                                                                        Anthony J. D'Angelo

All the best!

Carolyn
